Returning to school was a great challenge, after so many years, I did not remember much about the material and it was difficult, my motivation was mainly my daughters and my husband, my daughters because I want to give them a good example, my husband because he has always supported me and believed in me and also my parents because I want them to feel proud of me. I want to improve as a student, I like to investigate, study, that is why I would like to continue with a university degree. I want to thank God for putting me in this place, thanks to the Foundation for opening their doors to their Becas Program at Fundación Corazon de Niña, which is very important in the community, because it not only supports minors, but also women of my age with desires to improve. Dear Friends,

Soon we begin a new school year! Incredible experiences and opportunities await our students. This school year ten children learned to read and write between the ages of six and 12! Many graduated and are moving enthusiastically toward their goals. Corazón's Back to School Campaign gives more students hope to dream about a new future, to build a new life, far from the streets, hunger, the wrong people telling them they won't make it or don't deserve it.

Today at Fundación Corazón de Niña, I know everthing is possible, that God has led me here making possible my dream to be a good person, a leader that transforms the lives of everyone in my community, the Corazón Community!

Los Lobos

A Community of children that need our help

For three years, with your help, Corazón has supported the children of Los Lobos during our Back to School and Christmas Campaigns and last year with Hurricane Relief when their roofs were blown off and in some cases, homes completely destroyed. Los Lobos is located 1500 meters up into the Sierra Madre Mountain Range, almost 3 hours from Puerto Vallarta.

Los Lobos is a community overlooked in terms of government services, support and relief depending on Corazón for uniforms, school supplies and shoes for Back to School.

They use recycled government books and computers we were able to share being blessed with a surplus of donations of computers over the years.

Each time we visit, we bring food, clothing and medical supplies. Each time we leave, they say - 'please don't forget us'. With your help, we will make the trip once again! Thank you for making this possible!
